Ashley Dowdy, Virginia Commonwealth University, Summer 2002.

Most enjoyed - Least enjoyed:
"I enjoyed spending time out in the field, learning first hand the aspects of a photographic career that can not be learned in a classroom." - "The office maintenance is the least enjoyable aspect of the job, but it is also very helpfull in preparing you for what will present itself with your own photographic career."

What I learned:

"I learned a great deal and had an opportunity to participate in more photographic shoots than I thought would be possible. This internship gave me the opportunity to make decisions about my own photographic career based on first hand experiences. John has provided me with advice and pointed me in the direction necessary for me to achieve my own photographic goals."
