| "My internship at John Harrington Photography was fantastic. The people were great, I got to go on fascinating shoots, learn about the business of photography, and see how it is done in the real world of photography. The time went by too fast. I could spend many more months here and learn. " |
|
"I got a little stressed when trying to meet a deadline in the office. Still, this was a lot better than being assigned to various "intern projects" such as trying to figure out how to archive John's old slides.

What
I learned:
"I learned so many things! I gained a deep understanding of efficient and quality workflow and post-processing of images. I now know the correct way to name and file images, the best ways to present them to the client, and all of the in between of directly preparing the images. This will be incredibly useful in the future. Although many things cannot be named, everyday I picked up little things that I can apply to the way I run my own business. From the labels on the CDs delivered to the client, to the way John explains the reasons for his pricing, I learned a diverse array of effective business practices."
