Michelle Repiso, 4th year photography major, Corcoran School of Art.
Fall intern, 1999. |
"The
internship was a unique way of learning about photography. It took
me out of the classroom and into the real world of photography. It
was a chance for me to assist and experience what is entailed in getting
the best shot. Whether your intention is to become a commercial or
fine art photographer, I would recommend an internship with John.
He takes both the artistic and commercial and combines them to produce
a visually interesting outcome."

Least
enjoyed: |
| "Being
able to assist on photo shoots. Seeing and learning what really goes
on." |
- |
"The
obvious...carrying heavy equipment." |
What
I learned:
"How
to effectively communicate with a client so that an idea and vision
is successfully met. I also learned the business side of photography.
John would take time out and explain how to prosperously run a business."
