"The
experience of interning for John Harrington gave me tremendous insight
and daily hands-on experience regarding how a professional photographer
can run a successful business through a combination of photographic
skill and sound business sense. John's generosity and willingness
to spend time explaining the intricacies of both photography and business
practices gave me the needed skills as well as the inspiration to
pursue a photographic career of my own in the future. "

Least
enjoyed: |
| "Accompanying
John on shoots was the most enjoyable and interesting part of the
internship. Through assisting him at the shoots, and discussing the
events afterwards, my photographic knowledge increased exponentially." |
- |
"The
computer problems were sometimes quite frustrating in that some of
them weren't ever resolved (until my last day). " |
What
I learned:
"Through
working with John, I gained real experience in taking photographs,
communicating with clients, and doing office work that I learned
to be sometimes tedious, but always essential. This photo and business
education will undoubtedly prove invaluable in running my own business.
