If you are seeing this message, you may need to upgrade your flash player“The respect John gives all of his interns paves the way for enjoyment while working with JH Photography. Whether I was shooting along side of John, running for a ‘large diet’ or assisting with office work I was treated as a fellow photographer. I was never afraid to ask any question, no matter how simple or obvious, maximizing my learning experience. Without this consideration no position can be a pleasure.”
Least Enjoyed:“The least enjoyable aspect of my summer internship was all the DC walking/running I had to handle. Once I acquired a decent pair of sneakers, however, all was right with the world. My warning to all future interns . . . fashion takes a second to comfort! Be prepared for *everything* because chasing John in sandals at a shoot for the Race For The Cure is a hard lesson to learn!”
What I Learned:“Working with John Harrington gave me all the tools I need to start my own business. I was able to observe how to best handle customer confrontations, the interior running of a successful photographic business and I even shot three separate events with John! The latter of the three experiences included an in-depth analysis of my work; very helpful.”
