Most Enjoyed:

“The respect John gives all of his interns paves the way for enjoyment while working with JH Photography. Whether I was shooting along side of John, running for a ‘large diet’ or assisting with office work I was treated as a fellow photographer. I was never afraid to ask any question, no matter how simple or obvious, maximizing my learning experience. Without this consideration no position can be a pleasure.”

Least Enjoyed:

“The least enjoyable aspect of my summer internship was all the DC walking/running I had to handle. Once I acquired a decent pair of sneakers, however, all was right with the world. My warning to all future interns . . . fashion takes a second to comfort! Be prepared for *everything* because chasing John in sandals at a shoot for the Race For The Cure is a hard lesson to learn!”

What I Learned:

“Working with John Harrington gave me all the tools I need to start my own business. I was able to observe how to best handle customer confrontations, the interior running of a successful photographic business and I even shot three separate events with John! The latter of the three experiences included an in-depth analysis of my work; very helpful.”
