Protect your Images from Web-Theft

The mechanism I use employed issomewhat easy to work-around. If you were to download the entire page, and look at each of the graphic files downloaded, you would find the graphic. However, it is my belief that the people who are stealing images are using the right mouse button (on a PC) or click-and-hold (on a Mac) and choosing "COPY THIS IMAGE" "SAVE THIS IMAGE" "DOWNLOAD IMAGE TO DISK" "OPEN IMAGE IN NEW WINDOW" functions. And they are merely saving the image to their desktop, or clicking and dragging them there. Actually downloading the entire page is timely, and only for someone who knows a bit about html, and are significantly less likely to be "innocent infringers."

I strongly recommend reading both options, and applying some or all of the methods shown.
