Speakers gather after a panel discussion on the impact of the possible secession of Southern Sudan from Sudan on the future of the African region at the National Press Club in Arlington, VA on December 9th, 2010.. The discussion was moderated by radio journalist Kojo Nnamdi, and featured John Dau, a former Southern Sudanese "Lost Boy" and human rights activist, Enrico Carisch, former UN sanctions monitor in Sudan, Richard Owens, Director of Community Stabilization at IRD, and Andrea Freeman, Program Analyst with USAID's Office of Sudan Programs.
